If you are new to the yachting
experience, it may be confusing as to which broker will help you
find the ideal vessel. If you are a longtime yacht owner, you can
attest to the many details a broker must
negotiate on your behalf. While many
brokerages claim to offer the best
service, it is easy to be led astray by well-intentioned, yet
overzealous brokers who are primarily focused on closing the sale
quickly just to earn the commission and go on to the next deal. The
difference at Meridian Yachts is
our brokers keep your interests in the
forefront of all negotiations. We have many
exceptional brokers with years of experience to handle any
issue that may arise. We will remain by your side long after the ink
on the contract has dried.

Surveys can not be
e-mailed or faxed to prospective purchasers because they are sole
property of the Vendor.
All available pictures
are currently on our website. If you require further pictures please
contact the vessels listing broker with
your request. They will do
their best to fulfill your request.
If the vessel comes
with/price includes a trailer, it will be specifically stated.
For more information contact the listing broker.
All prices listed on
our website are in Canadian funds unless otherwise stated.
B.C. Provincial Sales
Tax is generally the only applicable tax payable on a used vessel.
The exception is when a vessel is owned by a G.S.T. registrant or
company. In this scenario both G.S.T. and P.S.T. would be payable.
You are exempt form
paying B.C. Provincial Sales Tax provided the vessel you purchase is
moved directly out of British Columbia by "common carrier" without
personal use in B.C.
For full details
contact the B.C.

You are exempt from
B.C. Provincial Sales Tax provided the vessel you purchase is
delivered either by common carrier e.i: "transport company" who
would issue a bill of lading or by "arms length Captain" and an
entry document can be provided to substantiate export & delivery to
the U.S. or U.S.
port.

The vessels we sell are
privately owned. However our brokers will present all offers to
vendors including those that may involve a vender taking a trade as
part payment. We do not take trades on the new
vessels Meridian represents.
Normally, we do not
transport and deliver. However, we can help you coordinate a move
with qualified companies specializing in transport and delivery.
Meridian Yachts conducts a lien and title search on each
vessel it sells, for more information on specific
vessels contact the listing broker.
Offers are written
subject to inspections. Surveys and mechanical inspections are
conducted following an accepted offer. You have the option of
renegotiating your offer if the inspections are not to your
satisfaction in the event of deficiencies.
Your
offer should be written subject to your satisfaction with a sea
trial. If you have specific performance criteria, discuss it with
your broker. Your broker can help you select the right boat.
If you have further
questions regarding specific vessels listed on our website, please
contact the listing broker, or
